Plot Summary

Grace Brothers is opening for the day, and following an unusual brief absence of Mrs Slocombe, Miss Brahms finds her in the fitting room drinking liquor. Mrs Slocombe proceeds to accommodate a customer, but acts rather rudely to her. Mrs Slocombe speaks with Miss Brahms about her recurring erotic dreams about Mr Humphries. She grins and says "I'm beginning to see him in quite a new light".

A troubled Mr Humphries is aware of Mrs Slocombe's sudden increase in attention toward him. A few minutes later, Mrs Slocombe approaches the Men's counter and buys a pair of gloves, which she intends to gift to Mr Humphries.
